Estwing Rip Hammer, Solid Steel Rip Claw Hammer
The Estwing Rip Hammer is a solid steel rip claw hammer forged in one piece, head and handle together, for unmatched balance, temper and durability. With no separate head to loosen or handle to break, it is built for years of daily use on the jobsite, in the shop and on production crews.
The straight rip claw handles more than nail pulling: it pries boards apart, helps with demolition and can split wood when needed. The smooth, fully polished face suits finishing and interior work, while the molded blue Shock Reduction Grip reduces vibration from impact and gives a comfortable, secure hold.

Safety: Always wear safety glasses when using a hammer, and make sure bystanders do too. Strike only nails and nail sets with the hammer face, never hardened steel or another hammer. When working at height, secure the hammer with a tool lanyard to prevent dropped objects.
