Petzl SHUNT Mechanical Prusik

Used below the rappel device, the Petzl SHUNT works as a rappel back-up and replaces friction hitches like the Prusik. Easy to install, it may be used to ascend single and or doubled rope. The SHUNT is compatible with single ropes of diameter 0.39'' to 0.43'' and doubled ropes of diameter 0.31'' to 0.43''.
