Petzl AVAO® Bod Fast Harness

The AVAO® BOD FAST Safety Harness is ideal for fall arrest, work positioning and suspension. Petzl is an expert in quality harness design, and the AVAO® BOD FAST delivers user comfort in any situation. Rigging is a high-skill job with inherent risks. Workers must be protected with proper fall protection, including a reliable harness that won’t fail in an emergency scenario.

Petzl’s AVAO® BOD FAST harness features an X-shaped dorsal construction that greatly reduces pressure points during prolonged suspension. This increases worker comfort which in turn, increases productivity and effectiveness. The semi-rigid, wide waist belt and leg loops give excellent support while foam should straps provide extra comfort.

The AVAO® BOD FAST harness is easily donned using self-locking DoubleBack waist belt and should strap buckles, as well as FAST buckles on the leg loops. These FAST buckles allow for opening and fastening without the need to readjust each time. Talk about a time saver! This harness also has pre-shaped equipment loops and retainers for carrying TOOLBAG tool pouches.

No one hopes to end up in an emergency scenario where they are suspended by their harness awaiting rescue. But the reality of our industry is that this is a very possible risk. The AVAO® BOD FAST is built with an innovative design that in the case of a fall, shifts weight and distributes it to the leg loops which allows the user to stay suspended longer while they await rescue.

• Fall indicator: red strap appears on dorsal attachment point after a fall to indicate harness should be retired
• In case of a fall on dorsal attachment point, the load is distributed over the leg loops, allowing user to remain suspended longer while awaiting rescue
