Doughty Swivel Coupler - Atom Clamp

The Doughty Swivel Coupler Atom Clamp provides a fast and firm fixing between adjacent bars of a smaller diameter at any angle, whilst also allowing 360 degrees of movement.  A great example of using this Coupler is bracing a truss with another tube.

This Coupler is constructed from high-tensile Aluminum Extrusion and fits round tubes or truss chords of 1'', 1.25'', 1.38'' and 1.5'' diameters. Broadly applicable in the theatre, film, TV and photographic industries.

The Atom range of Parallel and 90-Degree Couplers are also available.

What is a Cheeseboro? Cheeseborough clamps aka Cheeseboro, Scaffold Clamps, Couplers, Swivels and even Cheese-burger or Burger Clamps. The name is believed to derive from the Chesebro-Whitman manufacturing company of New York. The devices are used for connecting iron pipes or aluminum tubes. They come in two styles; rigid (aka fixed 90¡) or Swivel.
