Petzl SEQUOIA Attachment Bridge, Sewn Replacement Bridge

The Petzl SEQUOIA Attachment Bridge is a replacement bridge with sewn terminations at both ends that connect directly to the gated attachment points of the SEQUOIA PLUS harness, as well as the SEQUOIA and SEQUOIA SRT harnesses sold between 2019 and 2025. It gives arborists optimal lateral mobility while climbing and working in the tree.

The bridge comes pre-finished, so there is no knot to tie: simply connect it to the gated attachment points and check that both are closed. It is available in three color-coded lengths, so you can choose the bridge length that suits your work position and quickly identify each size on your harness.

Compatible SEQUOIA harnesses

This sewn attachment bridge is compatible with all sizes (0, 1 and 2) of the following Petzl tree care harnesses. Check the reference on your harness label before ordering.

• SEQUOIA PLUS: C069BB00, C069BB01, C069BB02
• SEQUOIA (sold 2019 to 2025): C069AA00, C069AA01, C069AA02
• SEQUOIA SRT (sold 2019 to 2025): C069BA00, C069BA01, C069BA02

It is not compatible with the current SEQUOIA harness (C069AB00, C069AB01, C069AB02). For that model, use the Petzl Knottable Attachment Bridge for SEQUOIA.

Sewn or knottable bridge?

The sewn SEQUOIA Attachment Bridge comes ready to install in a fixed length, which makes replacement quick and consistent. The Knottable Attachment Bridge is a single 125 cm length that you tie yourself at the stitched markings, and it is the option for the current SEQUOIA harness. Choose the sewn bridge if your harness has gated attachment points and you prefer a pre-finished, color-coded length.

When to replace your bridge

The bridge is a wear component that sees constant friction from your connectors and rope system. Inspect it before every climb and replace it when you see cuts, abrasion, glazing, worn stitching or any other damage, following the Petzl instructions for use.

Safety: Make sure both gated attachment points are fully closed after installing the bridge, and check them before every use. Remove the bridge from service immediately if it shows any damage. Tree climbing is inherently dangerous: users must be trained and competent in the use of this equipment.
