The Adaptive Technologies Group MP-500NPT-CP is a ceiling mounting plate for 1/2-14 threaded pipe. It installs to most horizontal overhead structures, including ceiling trusses, beams, Unistrut and other structural members.

It holds overhead speakers up to 80 lb (36.3 kg) at a 5:1 design factor, with a recommended drop of no more than 48 in.
