Hansen Protection SeaNordic immersion suit 82606

A 6-hour immersion suit made of extra-strong, flame-retardant neoprene. The SeaNordic comes equipped with an emergency light and has an integrated spray hood that protects the face from waves and potentially seabirds. The hood is fitted with an innovative inflatable bladder that improves facial seal water-tightness, increases buoyancy, and provides greater freeboard. The suit is approved for use without a lifejacket and is perfectly suited as a survival suit on board fishing vessels, merchant ships, and offshore installations.

Key Features:

  • Flame-retardant and UV-resistant 5 mm neoprene with double-knitted polyester/spandex backing fabric
  • Inflatable hood with integrated spray protection and manual inflation valve for enhanced buoyancy and water-tightness
  • Approved emergency light (IMO SOLAS), water-activated
  • Detachable 3-finger neoprene gloves and neoprene wrist seals with Velcro adjustment
  • Lifting harness with stainless steel D-ring and carabiner hook

Specifications:

  • Thermal protection for 6 hours in water temperatures below 2°C (IMO/SOLAS standard)
  • Can be used without a lifejacket – SOLAS MED/1.6b approved with built-in insulation
  • Main zipper: Polyurethane/plastic spiral, open; waterproof and easy to close
  • Rubber soles for optimal grip; neoprene socks with flame-retardant rubber sole
  • Maintenance interval: 3 years standard / 5 years when vacuum-packed (manufacturer recommendation)
