The Petzl spin S1 open pulley is a highly efficient and compact single pulley with a gated swivel.

The S1 has been engineered for maximum simplicity when setting up a haul or load deviation and can be opened even when attached to an anchor. The pulley is compact and lightweight which makes it an excellent tool for technical rescues and work with tensioned highlines. The smooth sheave has sealed balled bearings and is very efficient. The swivel makes it simple to orient the pulley under a load and connects directly with carabiners, ropes, or slings. The opening gate on the swivel makes the pulley compatible with a wide variety of products (tripod, REEVE pulley, PAW rigging plates, and more) reducing bulk during set up.
