Doughty Boom Arms - Heavy Duty

A new 40 inch Heavy Duty Boom Arm with an SWL of 110 lbs capable of taking the weight of a moving light has been launched by Doughty Engineering. This latest addition to the Boom Arm range is set to offer users an attractive and strong solution without the need for a brace.

The lighting boom arm is ideally fixed to aluminum trusses and standard scaffold poles, also known as lighting booms. Lanterns can be mounted on the horizontal boom arms to create sidelight or cross light across the stage.

''It has an SWL of 110 lbs which should more than suffice in the majority of situations while still looking good in its place" - Mark Chorley, Design Engineer at Doughty Engineering. Some users also agree the extra 55 lbs is going to make a big difference for the event set-up.
