SMC’s Spider is an auto-braking, NFPA rated descender designed for work positioning and personal descent. When working at height, comfort and efficiency are critical. The Spider allows workers at height to easily load and unload from the device without requiring the user to unclip from their harness. SMC’s Spider descender accommodates ropes from 11mm – 12.5mm diameters.
