WHAT IS A LOG PEAVEY?
A log peavey is an essential daily forestry tool used for turning heavy logs or dislodging them from entanglements. It consists of a wooden handle, a metal spike protruding from the end and a sharp-toothed curved swing hook. The metal spike can be rammed into a log, then the swing hook would grab the log at a second location.
